Journalista appoints new Managing Director
We are delighted to announce that Hannah Rose Thomson, former Head of Strategic Partnerships and Health at game-changing femtech brand, Elvie, today joins the Journalista team as our new Managing Director.
Hannah Rose is joining Journalista in the newly created role of MD at a pivotal time for the business, which has doubled in size during 2018 as increasing numbers of brands in the health, tech and research sectors seek to stand out by making the complex clear to their target audiences.
Hannah Rose’ appointment underpins Journalista’s commitment to offering in-depth expert consultancy to our growing roster of clients. During her three-and-a-half years at Elvie she grew a community of over 1000 clinical advocates, rolled out the company’s presence in private healthcare sectors in more than ten countries and collaborated with data and medical experts to build the clinical and cost effectiveness evidence necessary to secure an NHS Supply Chain tender and overseas reimbursement opportunities.
Prior to Elvie she was Chief Operating Officer at health tech start-up Selfless, which focused on fostering NHS innovation. Her interest in co-creating solutions to health challenges grew from her earlier work with the South West Academic Health Science Network (AHSN), communicating challenge-led innovation opportunities across health, academia and industry.
Holly Sutton, Journalista Founder and Strategy Director, said: “Journalista has always tried to ensure its work contributes to strategic, market access outcomes for clients, particularly in the health tech space. Our appointment of Hannah Rose is a key part of our strategy to widen and deepen this proposition further.”
Hannah Rose said of her appointment, “I look forward to sharing my experience in strategy and NHS-facing innovation to support Journalista and clients to achieve their growth potential.”
