Award-winning health journalist Helen Mooney joins Journalista as senior content manager
Helen is joining us in the newly created role at a crucial time for the business, which doubled in size during 2018-19 as increasing numbers of brands in the health and care, innovation and research sectors seek to stand out by making the complex clear to their target audiences.
Helen is a comms pro with over eighteen years experience as a journalist specialising in health policy, education and the legal sector.
She is well-versed in quickly assimilating, digesting and understanding complex issues and communicating them clearly to key target audiences.
During her 18 months at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust she secured great coverage for the organisation on a wide range of issues from organ donation to Victorian time capsules and much in-between.
Journalista Founder and Strategy Director, Holly Sutton, said: “Helen is joining the Journalista team at a crucial growth period for the agency as we take-on a growing portfolio of clients driving positive changes internationally.”
Commenting on her appointment Helen said: “As the lines between paid and owned content blur, and as we live through changing and uncertain times, my background and experience in journalism, as well as my deep understanding of the NHS – warts and all – will be invaluable to both Journalista and its clients.”
