Journalista’s closely established links with the faith and religious media meant that we could authoritatively pitch this story in as a UK first, encouraging both The Times and the Press Association to give it strong positive coverage.
We engaged with other leading faith organisations, including the National Muslim Women’s Advisory Group, to ensure their support and quotes within the release. We also engaged commentator on British Islam and Muslim women, the author of Love in a Headscarf, Shelina Zahra Janmohamed with the campaign and she promoted it through a highly positive comment piece for the Guardian.
