Action on Elder Abuse

Action on Elder Abuse is looking to continue its work in highlighting some of the poor care elderly patients can receive in hospitals and care homes.

Journalista is helping launch a report scrutinising the work of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and develop a debate about the wider issue of elderly care in the UK.

In addition to raising general awareness through national media coverage Journalista will also be providing Public Affairs support to broker conversations with relevant politicians that are shaping the debate.

Ultimately this will help highlight areas where the CQC failed as a watchdog up and encourage a governmental review of the effectiveness of this arms-length body,
